- Women OF HARRIS CHAPEL -

The purpose of HC Women states that we shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. The HC Women is a vital organization of our church. The Pastor and every woman is a member of the local unit. It is supported by pledges of the women of the church. It is designed to turn faith, hope and love into action and to support missions throughout the world.

 Our local unit provides sewing materials for the” Sewing for Joy” ministry  which makes uniforms for school age  children;  has made bibs for children  in an exceptional education program in a Broward County  School and has provided Christmas gifts for children in other Broward schools. The local unit‘s leadership team is composed of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, nominating chair, member-at-large and a Spiritual Growth Chairperson. Each year there is a calendar of events with several general meetings that are well-planned and structured throughout the year that provide information to the women to engage them  in activities that explore biblical understandings .
